Built different (and you’ll feel it)
Sasquatch Exhaust Systems aren’t built as “price-point” pipe. Our systems use 16-gauge wall tubing (approx. 1.5 mm / 0.059") because that spec matters where it counts: durability, fitment, weld integrity, sealing, and sound.
Why 16-gauge tubing matters in the real world
1) Takes abuse without turning into a pretzel
Thicker wall tubing is simply tougher and more resistant to:

dents from rocks, ice chunks, and road debris

deformation during install (less “tweak it to fit”)

stress fatigue around hangers/joints over time
2) Better fitment = fewer install headaches
16-gauge pipe holds its shape better, so everything lines up the way it should:

hangers line up cleaner

tips sit straighter

less rattling from pipes sitting too close

less “pre-load” stress from forcing parts into position (a common cause of cracks later)
3) Stronger weld zones, less warping
Thicker material gives more margin for proper weld penetration and helps reduce heat distortion at junctions and flanges—where cheaper systems often fail first.
4) Better sealing with proper flange surfaces
A quality exhaust is more than tubing. Flat, consistent sealing surfaces stay sealed through repeated heat cycles:

less re-tightening and “chasing leaks”
5) Sound quality
Thicker wall tubing tends to sound more solid and less tinny, because it doesn’t “ring” like thin-wall pipe.
Bottom line: 16-gauge isn’t marketing fluff—it’s a real build spec that improves durability, fitment, weld stability, sealing, and sound.
Cab & Chassis note (important)
If you have a Cab & Chassis, modification may be required to fit. Early Duramax cab & chassis trucks came with a wide range of wheelbase/length configurations.
Material options
T409 Stainless (recommended)
Our stainless option is the go-to for customers who want the best long-term durability and corrosion resistance for real-world use.
Aluminized (budget-series)
Still a solid system, but this option is overseas-produced aluminized steel rather than our T409 stainless line, and it won’t have the same fit/finish level. Ideal if you’re trying to keep cost down while still upgrading to a full 5" system.

Shipping Costs
Our shipping rates apply to orders shipped within the United States and Canada.
Shipping Times
- Air Shipping: Orders placed with air shipping by 2:00 PM EST on a business day will ship the same day.
- Ground Shipping: Our goal is to process and ship within 24-48 hours during business days, unless your order contains custom tunes that are preloaded which may take an additional 1-3 business days to ship.
Shipping Delays
Please be aware that we are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other events beyond our control. No refunds will be issued for delays caused by such events.
Special Shipping Information
- Alaska and Hawaii:
Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii must select 2nd Day Air. Overnight shipping may not be available for remote areas, and these locations may experience longer delivery times than stated. - Remote Areas:
Some remote areas in Canada and other regions may incur additional shipping costs. If additional fees apply, we will notify you, and your order will be shipped once the extra shipping cost is paid. - International Shipping:
For shipping outside the US and Canada, please contact us through our contact page for assistance. - Large Packages:
All Full Exhausts, Pipes, and Air Intakes ship GROUND!
Returns Policy
- General Return Policy:
Due to the specialized nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns. Most items are VIN-specific or custom-built to order. - Defective Items:
We only accept exchanges for defective items. We recommend professional installation for these items. If a product is defective and cannot be exchanged or repaired, a refund of the original purchase price will be issued upon receipt of proof of malfunction or damage. - Return Exceptions:
In certain cases, we may make exceptions for returns. If your return request is approved, a 30% restocking fee will be applied. All items must be returned in their original packaging, and return shipping costs will not be refunded. - Cancellations:
All sales are final. If you cancel your order after it has been placed but before it has shipped, a 5% processing fee will apply. - Non-Returnable Items:
Certain items, such as hard parts (e.g., EGR kits, DPF pipes/exhaust, pyro kits, throttle valve kits, exhaust tips, and intakes), are not eligible for return unless an exception is made. If an exception is granted, a 30% restocking fee will be applied, along with the cost of return shipping.
