ECU Compatibility
Before ordering, you must verify that your Sprinter is equipped with one of the following Bosch ECUs:

Do not order based only on the vehicle year or engine size.
The Bosch ECU type and part number must be confirmed before purchasing. If your ECU is not listed above, email Sasquatch Diesels a clear photo of the ECU label so compatibility can be verified.
Power-Level Options
Stock Power
No additional horsepower is added. This calibration is designed to maintain factory-like power delivery with minimal added exhaust smoke.
40 HP
Adds approximately 40 horsepower over the factory power level. This tune provides improved throttle response and drivability while maintaining clean operation with minimal added smoke.
50 HP
Adds approximately 50 horsepower over the factory power level. This option provides stronger performance and may produce additional exhaust smoke under load.
ECU Bench-Flash Service
This is a send-in ECU programming service. The ECU must be removed from the vehicle and shipped to our tuning facility.
Your ECU will be inspected, read, programmed with the selected calibration, and shipped back to you ready for installation.
Once the ECU is delivered to our facility, normal processing time is approximately 3–5 business days. The ECU will then be returned using express shipping, which typically takes approximately 2–3 business days.
Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
We recommend selecting the fastest available inbound shipping option to minimize vehicle downtime.
Sasquatch Diesels will provide prepaid shipping labels or the correct shipping address after your order has been reviewed. Do not ship the ECU to the general office address shown on our website unless specifically instructed to do so.
Preparing Your ECU for Shipping
Before removing the ECU:

Scan the vehicle and clear all diagnostic trouble codes.

Confirm there are no active DEF, DPF, SCR, AdBlue, engine, or maintenance warnings.

Turn the ignition completely off.
-
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
-
Remove the ECU or have it professionally removed.
-
Write your order number, vehicle year, and vehicle model on the ECU using a removable label or securely attached tag.

Package the ECU carefully to prevent moisture, impact, or shipping damage.
We strongly recommend having the ECU removed and installed by a qualified technician.
Important DEF and SCR Warning
Any existing DEF, DPF, SCR, AdBlue, countdown, or no-start warnings should be resolved and cleared before the ECU is removed.
Some warning messages originate from the separate SCR or AdBlue control module and may remain stored in the instrument cluster even after the engine ECU has been programmed. ECU tuning may not clear countdowns or warnings that were active before programming.
For race configurations, the applicable EGR, DPF, SCR, and AdBlue sensors must be disconnected as directed during installation. The separate SCR or AdBlue control module may also need to be disconnected or removed, depending on the vehicle configuration.
Do not install the modified ECU while the AdBlue or SCR module remains connected when your installation instructions require its removal. Doing so may create warning messages or faults that cannot be corrected through the engine ECU calibration.
Previously Tuned ECUs
We cannot reliably program over an unknown or existing aftermarket calibration.
If your ECU has previously been tuned, it may need to be restored to its original factory software before it can be programmed. Additional recovery, unlocking, or restoration charges may apply if the ECU arrives with modified, corrupted, or unsupported software.
Contact Sasquatch Diesels before ordering if the vehicle has ever been tuned by another company.
Included 3" Cat & DPF Delete Pipes
This package includes a 3-inch performance exhaust system designed for off-road and competition applications.
The system removes the applicable factory emissions exhaust components while retaining the factory rear tailpipe section.
Dual Twister resonators help control exhaust noise and drone, making the system suitable for work vans, camper conversions, and other Sprinter applications where excessive cabin noise is undesirable.

2018 Model-Year Warning
Some 2018 Sprinter models use the newer 2019-style turbo-direct exhaust connection.
The included exhaust system is not compatible with Sprinters equipped with that newer connection design.
Owners of 2018 vehicles must visually confirm the turbo outlet and factory exhaust configuration before ordering. Contact Sasquatch Diesels with clear photos if you are unsure which design your van uses.
Installation Requirements
The included exhaust system and ECU programming are designed to work together as a complete race-use package.
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Exhaust modifications may require cutting, adjustment, hardware transfer, or minor fitment work depending on vehicle condition, wheelbase, body configuration, and previous repairs.
Inspect the complete exhaust system and verify compatibility before removing or modifying any factory components.
Important Ordering Terms
This is a VIN-specific, custom-programmed, special-order product.
Once the order has entered processing, it cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.
Programming, shipping, installation, diagnostic, and labor costs are non-refundable. Sasquatch Diesels is not responsible for pre-existing vehicle problems, unresolved warning messages, damaged wiring, failed control modules, incorrect ECU identification, improper installation, or mechanical issues unrelated to the supplied calibration.

Shipping Costs
Our shipping rates apply to orders shipped within the United States and Canada.
Shipping Times
- Air Shipping: Orders placed with air shipping by 2:00 PM EST on a business day will ship the same day.
- Ground Shipping: Our goal is to process and ship within 24-48 hours during business days, unless your order contains custom tunes that are preloaded which may take an additional 1-3 business days to ship.
Shipping Delays
Please be aware that we are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other events beyond our control. No refunds will be issued for delays caused by such events.
Special Shipping Information
- Alaska and Hawaii:
Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii must select 2nd Day Air. Overnight shipping may not be available for remote areas, and these locations may experience longer delivery times than stated. - Remote Areas:
Some remote areas in Canada and other regions may incur additional shipping costs. If additional fees apply, we will notify you, and your order will be shipped once the extra shipping cost is paid. - International Shipping:
For shipping outside the US and Canada, please contact us through our contact page for assistance. - Large Packages:

Returns Policy
- General Return Policy:
Due to the specialized nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns. Most items are VIN-specific or custom-built to order. - Defective Items:
We only accept exchanges for defective items. We recommend professional installation for these items. If a product is defective and cannot be exchanged or repaired, a refund of the original purchase price will be issued upon receipt of proof of malfunction or damage. - Return Exceptions:
In certain cases, we may make exceptions for returns. If your return request is approved, a 30% restocking fee will be applied. All items must be returned in their original packaging, and return shipping costs will not be refunded. - Cancellations:
All sales are final. If you cancel your order after it has been placed but before it has shipped, a 5% processing fee will apply. - Non-Returnable Items:
Certain items, such as hard parts (e.g., EGR kits, DPF pipes/exhaust, pyro kits, throttle valve kits, exhaust tips, and intakes), are not eligible for return unless an exception is made. If an exception is granted, a 30% restocking fee will be applied, along with the cost of return shipping.
